Tongue n' Cheek Open Mic Poetry & Literature Night 4/1

In honor of Earth Month, April’s Tongue n’ Cheek Open Mic Poetry and Literature Night will be dedicated to words of reverence for Mother Earth.

Celebrate, admire, respect, and praise our planet with us hippies here at The Hangout. Let’s fight for Mama Earth’s healing, wax poetic about her beauty, muse about her effect on our lives, and sing the songs of the rivers, trees, and mountains, or just the nature you walk by every day in the city.

Come hangout at The Hangout on the first Friday, April 1st from 6-9 to read a poem, essay, literary excerpt, song lyrics, freestyle spoken word art, or if you’re the listening type just come on by to enjoy.
